In my midi track there is a note on the “Open 2” hat, whenever it is played it triggers all the notes down to “Open 5”. When I delete this note and draw it again the same thing happens again. Also when I delete it and copy another “Open 2” note (which doesn’t trigger other hats) to the same spot it will trigger the other hats again. What am I missing here?
Hi,
a MIDI note cannot be assigned to more than one articulation in EZdrummer 3, if you add a note to an articulation already in use by another, it simply steals it from the former.
Do you have any kind of MIDI effect on your EZD3 track in your DAW? What does the MIDI In monitor tell you when you trigger?

I just figured it out: In the midi settings I changed the “Openness Transition” setting to “Note-triggered transition” instead of “Library Default”. Now it sounds fine! Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!
