Plogue Bidule is not a host we have tested on or support. However, I’m surprised that opening an old project doesn’t work. We’ll see if we can do anything about it.

Haven’t tested with Bidule in 9 years. It is a cool different kind of host
where you route signals a bit like in an electronics schematic. Well, at least
it used to be. I can imagine that it might frown upon a VST that changes its
    number of outputs.

It works fine for me. What library did you use in EZD1 and how many of its outputs had you routed?

Hm, strange, I tried to load the project several times and crashed (i.e. it hangs) every time.
It is a project with 12 instances of EZDrummer, each containing a different drum set.
Most drum sets only have two outputs, but the percussion sets (EZClaustrophobic and EZPercussion) use all 8 outputs.

I would also think that it has to do with the new number of outputs, as Olle said above.

Do you have any other projects with fewer instances of EZdrummer 1? Do they work?

Could you surf to https://ftpserver.toontrack.net/upload and upload your project there so we can test it?

What version of Bidule do you use?
