I had EZD2 for a good while before upgrading to EZD3. Yesterday I happen to look at my ‘Toontrack Product Manager’ and noticed there was an update available for EZD3. I don’t know how long it was sitting there (probably just a short while since EZD3 is new), but I’ve also had updates for products I used under EZD2 that I was unaware of until I opened the ToontrackProduct Manager app which isn’t often. How difficult is it to email a notification to product owners that an update is available? All information (registered products and email) is on file with Toontrack to facilitate notifications. Or perhaps I’m missing something elsewhere that would tell me of an update? Again I seldom have need to look in the Product Manager so beneficial updates could be easily overlooked.
If you are on the email list, you should’ve gotten an update. Perhaps, it might be in your spam folder.

you should have received an email about the 3.0.1 update on May 19th. Even I had this email end up in the suspected Spam mailbox, so it depends on your spam settings, in your email client as well as your email provider settings.

Nope, no notifications of any updates in my spam, trash, anywhere else for my email going back to mid-April. However, the notification from ‘John’s’ reply to this thread was in my spam folder, but Bear-Faced Cow was in the regular incoming mail folder.
I’ll subscribe to ‘Forum Announcements’ and see how that works.

I never got any email notification either and not in Spam folder either.
I’ve looked and cannot find anywhere in my account settings to select/deselect email notifications either. The only subscriptions are for any threads that had started or replied to so that doesn’t look like a route to fix it.

The email that was sent out for EZdrummer 3.0.1 was sent to our newsletter subscribers.
To subscribe to the newsletter, scroll down to the bottom of this page and click the letter icon under “Join Us”.
Normally, we do not announce updates via the newsletter. You can subscribe to the Forum Announcements here: https://www.toontrack.com/forums/forum/customer-service/forum-announcements/?view=all
Then you will be notified via email when a new update is available.
