Help! I started a new song (in Cubase) and opened EZBass. I couldn’t find any grooves from the library that suited my song so I ‘added a groove” and using the editor added notes to create the bass line. However, when I go ‘copy’ then ‘paste at playhead’ to duplicate this section, the stupid thing transposes all the notes up two octaves! Why the hell would it do this and how can I get it to duplicate the section properly? I don’t feel like having to type in all the notes for the entire song. I’ve always been able to copy and paste the sections which I have derived from the library but this time I can’t. Is it because I’ve just added a groove and marked in the notes myself? This is a ridiculous time-wasting anomaly that shouldn’t happen! Not impressed Toontrack!
