    Hi John

Firstly thanks for replying to my issue and I should’ve explained I have just bought and installed the EZ Bass plugin when I noticed this happening.

I have worked out what the problem is, it was down to my Midi Keyboard Controller Alesis Q25 which have Pitch and Modulation Wheels.

I have EZ Bass connected to my Q25 via Audio/Midi Setup in EZ Bass settings, the Modulation wheel on the Q25 seems to be were the issue is, allow the wheel was at minimum if I increased the Modulation the oscillating obviously increased, so I unchecked the Q25 in the Audio/Midi Setup and restarted EZ Bass with no issues. Hope this makes sense.

My concern now is, how do I use my Q25 in connection with EZ Bass if the Modulation is going to affect EZ Bass?

    Regards Stephen

Stephen, not sure what DAW you might be using, can’t you filter the mod wheel out?

    Hi,

if you are using EZbass in Standalone, you can always select the ‘Vibrato’ lane instead of the ‘Velocity’ lane in the Grid Editor and select the offending Vibrato CC data and delete it.

If you are using a DAW, as user Don suggests, you should be able to activate an Input Filter to filter out the CC 1 data.

    Hi John/Don

I tried your last idea, delete CC data/change lane etc it worked but when I closed EZ Bass then started it up again it raised it’s ugly head……again LOL.

Anyhow, I borrowed a Nektar Impact LX61 and it worked with no problems I even moved the Modulation wheel and it did what it was supposed to….Modulate and when I returned the Mod wheel back to start position it was all fine no Modulation. I’ve a funny feeling the pot on the Mod wheel is the problem which might need to be replaced, if it’s my Q25 then maybe it’s time to look at getting a new keyboard midi controller now I know who the culprit is.

On ending I noticed in the Not Assigned CC list CC1-CC64-CC67 are missing, I believe CC1 is related to Modulation. Picture attached.

John/Don I just want to say thank you for your help on this issue it is much appreciated. Now I just have to sweet talk to the wife with regards to buying a new keyboard wish me luck.

Can I say I’m well pleased with EZ Bass and I’ve only scratched the surface of what it can do.

    Stephen
