Goodday @Support!
In the Grid Editor of EZD3, the notes of the high-hat cymbals have a very short duration when the playhead triggers the note when passing over it. When lengthening notes after selecting ‘Show note lenght’ in the articulations row of the high-hat instruments, nothing changes: the duration of the sound remains unchanged and very short. See the attached screenprint. When clicking on the instruments in the articulation rows, the note sounds correct in full lenght. I have tried several ways to solve this, but without result. Please advice!
Thanks very much,
Hans .

I believe show note length is for the few melodic instruments in Toontrack EZXs which are not available in the core libraries of EZD3.
When clicking with you’re mouse on the images you audition sounds at 100% velocity.
When writing a note with the humanization button engaged you do not hear 100% velocity.

“When clicking on the instruments in the articulation rows, the note sounds correct in full lenght.”
This is the same as programming a note in the grid at 100% velocity.
Either you missed something in your explanation or have overlooked something. Have you tried creating a new session to start over with this test?
Maybe you have a Midi Controller plugged in that is sending a CC message. Maybe you put a CC message in the Pedal Control Lane and so forth.
Provide a video if you wish, I’ll check it out. What you’re describing is not correct as-is though.

In your screenshot you have something muted in the Grid Editor. What is muted? If you unmute it, does it fix it?
