Somehow, I messed up some sessions in Pro Tools and as a result I have to set my hardware to 48k to make the session play the proper speed and pitch.
Here’s my problem…when I use EZ Keys with the session on 48k, EZ Keys is not in tune with the project. So, I have to tune the EZK by ear to match my project.
Is there any options besides tuning EZK by ear?
BTW, I’ve tried importing everything from PT into a new session at 44.1 but the timing of EZD never matches up with the other instruments.
Thanks for any help.
Hi,
if I understand you correctly, I would make sure those audio files are converted to the sample rate you wish to work in, so you don’t need to perform any correcting sample rate/pitch by setting the hardware to a different sample rate. That path will sure lead to other problems.

Thanks, John. You made me think of something.
Originally, I tried importing all wave files from the original session into a new 44k session and then inserting my original midi EZD as an instrument track and ithe timing would never quite line up.
What I may try is to convert EZD to wave files in my original session and then convert them all together into a 44k session. I will lose individual control of drums but that would be okay.
(I tried to edit my thread title to include pro tools.)
