i just started using sd3 with my Alesis strike pro. After following the instructions I am getting no output from the strike module to my mixer and amp. I'm only getting sound from my computer. I probably have done something wrong. Hopefully it's a simple fix. Any help would be appreciated.
The fact you are getting the sound out of your computer is a good thing. You don’t say how you are connecting to the mixer/amp. I connect to my external mixer via USB. My mixer has a driver on my computer which I select when I want the sound to go there. If your external mixer does not have a USB port. You will have to connect direct from the sound output/s on your computer into the mixer. So you will need the right cables to do that.
It’s staring to sink in. I have a x2222 USB mixer. So basically what you’re saying is input from the drum module to the computer out put from the computer to the mixer with another USB cable. Correct?
Yes. You have to select the correct sound output driver on your computer to get the sound to your mixer. The USB driver is best because it is the cleanest sound.
I’m downloading drivers for the x2222 as we speak. I will give it a try. Hope you are still monitoring if it doesn’t work. Thank you
