I’ve no doubt I’m doing something really stupid, but here goes:
I spent a long time on a custom preset, saved it and exited out of the project I was in. I went to a different project to hear this preset in context, loaded it – and no sound. Within SP3, I can see the drums moving in the graphic, they are fine in the mixer, routing is where it should be, I’m getting good levels on the meters – but no sound. Within the same project, I can load any of the other presets in SP3 and hear them just fine, but not this one. I’ve gone through everything I can think of. I’ve followed the signal all the way to the end. In fact, if it wasn’t for the fact that I can load other kits, I’d think it was my DAW and not SP3. The preset file is not unduly large (2300 MB). Any thoughts would be much appreciated. It was a lot of hours of tweaking. Thanks, everyone.
