no sound from ez drummer 2

Hi,

 

I have installed ez2 on my laptop connected to the drum module when you hit a pad it shows on screen but the sound is still coming from the module and not ez drummer I think I have set it up correctly in the settings tabs but the sound will not come through ez drummer only the module.

Any help would be great thanks

Hi John,

 

My laptop is an icore5 intel processor with 1TB hard drive and 16 gig of RAM, I have an Alesis DM10MK2 pro kit and have connected them via a usb cable from the module(usb/midi/audio) to the laptop.

The ez drummer settings are as follows:

AUDIO DEVICE – ASIO

MIDI DEVICE -Alesis DM10

MIDI CHANNEL- Any

OUT CHANNEL – Headphones/speakers

MIDI IN – Any (default)

MIDI MAPPING – Alesis or Alesis DM10

HUMANISE – On

MIDI IN channel Any –

I can’t think of anything else to do any help advise would be great

Are you plugging your headphones in your laptop headphone jack?

My headphones are plugged into the module do you think that is the reason I didn’t think about that I will try it.
