No presets could be loaded. You may need to re-install EZmix

DAW: Reaper 3.73 64 Bit
OS: Win 7 64 Bit
EZmix 64 Bit

When I launch Reaper and add EZmix as a plug the GUI shows up and I get the following message “No presets could be loaded. You may need to re-install EzMix”.

I tried re-installing several times but to no avail. Any ideas?

did you get as far as authorizing EZmix or does this error pops up before you get a chance to do so?

Anyway it sounds like EZmix cannot find the preset file, be it because it is probing the wrong folder or the file itself has restricted permission for the Reaper application to read… the latter would be surprising but you never know.

Could you try to start Reaper with administrative rights, i.e right click the application and choose ‘Run as Administrator’ to check if it makes a difference?
