    I’m afraid I don’t have fiber connection, is there any way to get it in chunks?

    Still, 163gb really would a big hassle to download and install on my drive. But man, it’s sounds so much better than anything else. Those preset examples are insane, does it come with a bunch of midi too?

    Sweetwater’s site said this “Contains 4 individual libraries (3 drums; 1 percussion) }

    Does this mean 4 separate downloads? That would be better, I have a LAN connection other the other computer and could just wait a couple of days.

    I have a question and can also give some input on yr questions. I have just bought FOR and looks great but I need time to explore properly. From what you have seen is there anything in Rock Foundry that I cant get in FOR ? (refer my question earlier on in this thread)

    I looked earlier in the thread, but didn’t really see what you were actually looking for. All I see is just “better option.“ it would really all depend on what you are looking for in an SDX. For me, it all comes down to sonics. Rock Foundry is sonically different than Fields of Rock. Bob Rock has a different production style than Tom Dalgety. Studio rooms and ambient channels also have a big play in it. For me, Fields of Rock, like I said previously, is more options. It’s all about the song. Rock Foundry is my go to SDX as I know that I can load up one of my go to drum mix user presets (the “Hitmaker” Ludwig Kit is my personal fave) and its almost magic in that it works so well. This is not always the case, however. My songwriting varies enough to often require different libraries and that’s okay. If Fields of Rock (or one of the others) become my go to SDX, that’s all good too. For now, Rock Foundry resonates very well with my style for the most part. If the Bob Rock sound is what you’re after, then Rock Foundry is the obvious choice.

    I have D&D and Hansa (and now FOR) but not Decades. D&D and Hansa are awesome and from what I see of what you do and your comments above, I think these 2 would be best choice and can certainly say they are both my current favourites. FOR is now likely to be part of my top 3.

    Yeah, I went with Hansa in my SDX Bundle. I listened to Decades over and over again and it didn’t fully resonate with me. Honestly, I have everything I need in the Roots SDX for Jazz/Blues and like the Blackbird Studio sound. Hansa definitely fit my style better. No regrets on that one. Longest day of my life waiting for all of that to download and install. LOL!

    No, it’s one download (161 GB).

    Dang. Well, again, luckily I have a computer on a LAN so it’s a little faster and unless the power goes off or the system goes down, I’ll just do it there someday it will finish 😆

    Thanks.
