No Keyboard Shortcuts?

I just installed ezplayer as i wanted a quick way to navigate through my drum loops and i am shocked that the arrow keys on my mac keyboard do not move the selection through the browser. This means having to use a mouse to click on every file i want to play which is very slow.
ive never seen an app that can not do this.
Can i please request that you add keyboard functionality!

well, EZplayer is not an app… keyboard shortcut seldom get passed by the host to plug-ins. So what seems like a basic (and legitimate) request is not at all straightforward I’m afraid.

im using it in stand alone mode, wouldn’t that behave differently to using it in a host?
as a work around do you know if its possible to assign the up and down selector to a midi device or quickkeys?

By ‘stand alone mode’ do you mean inside Toontrack’s host Solo?

There is no current way to assign up down selectors to controllers in Solo.

Yes inside “solo”. i downloaded it just yesterday, I couldn’t find any other way to launch it as Stand alone. Is there a way for it to be actually “stand alone”?

No, it is a plugin, and as such requires a host program.

TT Solo is a simple host designed for low latency operation to be used for electronic drum kit playing (a host, but not a DAW).

yes, as indicated on the product page, BFD is supported.

my error, i didnt phrase my question correctly, it does say the mapping is supported, however i was referring to using BFD2 as the “drummer” for the stand alone ezplayer with toontrack solo?

no, Toontrack solo, if I understand is what you are calling ‘standalone’ can only host Toontrack drum plug-ins.
