If this is actually missing, I find it to be a huge flaw and would like to see it implemented for version 3.5 (sooner if possible).
I don’t want to have to go through multiple drop-down menu to find a kit I like in the SP3 main library. Also the fact that the hierarchy of where you are in the menu system is missing, i.e.; no group (category) listed, just Superior Drummer 3/(Pop/Rock… missing)/Club Kit Basic for example.
It appears the only way to set up sudo-“favorites” is to save as a user kit (the original name should be in the Name dialog. You either have to start with a name of your choosing or retype the name of the kit name you’re saving)!?! Would be nice if you could just add your initials or…?
If anyone can tell me how I’m wrong or offer a work-around, I’d really appreciate it.
Thanks all!
PS Had to laugh when I submitted… see attached.
My favorites are in user presets. Generally I take one of the stock kits that sounds pretty close to what I want, tweak it and save it.

Thanked by: Scott Eshlemannot sure what you consider a flaw here. All of the kids within a library are listed in the parts preset Sub menu. You can use them to replace any kit within a preset. The core Library also has a clean kits sub folder that give you a jumpstart on any preset. These are available for instant recollection.

Guess I’m not making myself clear…
Just want to be able to select a kit and make it a “Favorite” and add it to a menu called “Favorites” with a submenu of the kits I deem Favorites.
A simple right-click and “Add to Favorites”, would do the job. So, with that, I can quickly grab a core library kit from My Favorites without going through the process of renaming it to my presets.
No tweaking, no switching out instruments, just quick access to the core library kits I like without having to pick from the hundreds of choices in the core library menu system.
Another good option would be to “Hide” kits I don’t like as is available in BFD 3.
I have no use for many of the kits in the core library. I’d still have access to the individual instruments to switch out parts if I like a particular kick (for instance) but I don’t need to see every kit available.
