No demo Mixpacks? If so what’s the point of that?

    That is a great question.

I was interested in the Al Schmidt EZmix Pack. Since there seems to be no way of making a decent test run I didn’t buy it. I mean 50 euro for a “shit-I-cant-use-that” result? That is too much. And nowadays is the price of each product plus 15 euro license transfer fees, so 65 euro for possibly nothing?

Anyway, that reminds me of something I recently experienced. A buddy sent me a mixed WAV and I wanted to show him the possibilities of EZmix mastering in a video! But when I started running the whole thing, I clicked through a ton of EZmix presets, and came to the conclusion that I would only show two presets as examples, otherwise it would have been too much.

Given that all products are potentially $15 more expensive than the prices one hast to pay in the first place because of the $15 license transfer fees (even for a drum MIDI pack), a one-day-trial-installation of EZmix itself but also for every single EZmix Pack would be a decent and appropriate concession.

(which the might justify the license transfer fees after being able to get a real impression!)

License transfer fees countervalue is $ 2,250.00
    (done...)

So my anger about the Toontrack license transfer fee introduced in June 2021 is not entirely unfounded...
