What is my fault? I cannot play the instruments/drums with my Midi-Keyboard. Which switch should I use?
I want to add some notes in my line but it doesn’t work, the keyboard doesnt receive any signal from EZD.
Please help…

In a DAW, your DAW is responsible for making the connection between midi controllers and EZD. Make sure your DAW can see your keyboard/controller. Also, sometime you must route the controller to the right channel and record enable it.
In EZD standalone app, you go to Settings >Audio/Midi Setup and select your controller.

It’s an old Korg keyboard which I work with since years, I can trigger the drums of Groove Agent and Addictive Drums as normal, but it doesn’t work with EZD
I work with the integrated version, not standalone. When clicking directly on the drums in the screen then there is sound, but not via keyboard
I’ve had this issue too. I’m afraid the only answer I can add is plug and unplug midi, turn midi keyboard off then back on again or restart computer, turn around and shake it all about. Somehow going back over the simple stuff seems to work most times.

Tnx Gordon, but if there would be a bug like you described the other instruments shouldn’t word – but they do- via my keyboard. So it must be a bug in EZD. Perhaps one of the specialists can add a helpful answer.
Tnx for today
Highly doubt it’s an issue with EZ Drummer if you are using it within a DAW (if that’s what you mean by integrated). I have 5 different controllers and EZ Drummer responds to them all. Check your DAWs instrument channel to see that it is receiving MIDI from your keyboard (easiest way is to record a MIDI region on that instrument track). Compare it to your other instrument channels as your answer lies there.

I receive signals from my keyboard to every vst-instrument – not from EZD ! There must be a switch or anything else which enables this connection, that’s what I am looking for
Your answers are rather vague. What do you mean “not from EZ Drummer”? Please provide more details as to how you have everything set up. EZ Drummer works fine in both standalone and within my DAW. MIDI is agnostic and EZ Drummer doesn’t care where it get its data from.

When the specialist comes, they’re going to want to know what DAW you’re using. There is no switch in EZDrummer. EZDrummer is the guest of your DAW, you’re DAW controls/routes the midi.
You’ve opened up a new session, still assuming you are using a DAW, and tried a fresh test with only EZDrummer?

OK, tnx for trying. My DAW is Cubase Pro 14 and the problem does not exist anymore. I deleted EZD in all, shoot down the computer and started all new – now it works as it should. But there is no idea why. But this doesn’t matter anymore.
“Specialist”…
Did you turn it off and turn it back on again?
