Hey guys,
When building a snare stack, I can only route the topmost (main) snare to a top mic and bottom mic. All the other snares from the stack don’t show the bottom mic. Can I somehow change this so I can route all the top mics to my “snare top” channel, and all the bottom mics (if I can add them) to my “snare bottom” channel? Any help is much appreciated. Thanks!

Hi there
May depend on the snare that’s being stacked. In my example the top and bottom are available.
Mac Studio M1 Max, RAM 64 GB, 1TB Drive, OSX 12.x/13.x and Windows 10 (VM)
DAW: Studio One Pro (always up to date)
DTX Express III (Extreme triggers), Nektar LX88
OWC Thunderbay Mini (4 X 1TB Sata SSD), Express 4M2 (4 X 2TB M.2 SSD), Envoy Express (1TB M.2 SSD)
Presonus Quantum, Faderport & Faderport 8
Black Lion Sparrow Mk2 A/D, FMR-RNP-RNC, MIDI Xpress 128, BM5A, KRK VXT4, Equator D5
2020 Macbook Pro 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD Audio(mobile rig)
Just to add a little detail…. if you open the Metal! EZX (make sure you have the instrument you want to stack in the kit)… you’ll know from the mixer tab whether it will have a top and bottom close mic. The snare you are stacking doesn’t.

Ah I see.. that makes sense, thanks for the quick reply, Brad!
(Too bad some of the snares don’t have separate snare mics though. Not very convenient for flexible mixing. 🙁 )
