This is a new issue that happened after a recent update in reaper. I always use the Superior Drummer sequencer in the plugin until I’m ready to mix. It will work fine as it always does when the plugin is open. But when I close it, no audio can be heard. This is consistent too. I don’t want to just assume it’s a Reaper and/or Superior Drummer thing, as I could have very well changed a configuration in Reaper to make this happen. However, if this a known issue than I hope I can get some help. But until then I’ll keep my investigation to see if I did something stupid in Reaper
Hi,
I just tried running all three flavors of the SD3.4.2 plug-in in Reaper 7.56 and have no problem running neither the SD3 Song Track nor Reaper Track MIDI with the plug-in FX window closed. I am trying to figure out if there is a particular setting in Reaper that can cause this but solar I haven’t found anything.
BR,
John

Thanked by: buckycoreI’m grateful for the reply. I’ll just keep looking in Reaper alongside you and hope we can find a solution
Oh man, I feel dumb. I simply had unchecked “Run FX when stopped” when I was trying to find solutions. Shaperbox’s interface is laggy in Reaper Vs other DAWS (on a side note, the same is true with Superior Drummer. Other DAWS are fast and snappy. Reaper is slow and laggy with the interface)
Anyway, this problem has been solved. And now we both know what the solution is for others who might run into this issue with Reaper
