newbie advice

Just wondering when using ezdrummer in Fruity Loops 9. After opening up ezdrummer ,I then pick my beat and place it where? Im trying to figure out where to place the drum beat so I  can place the second one behind it. Ive tried messing around a little bit with piano roll but when I drop the other beat in it just overlaps.

Hi,

I’m not in front of my FL install ATM, but I think you can work with the attached Template.
You can drop it on a pattern slot but you need to select a new pattern line in the Playlist before dropping on the same slot.
In FL9, I think you can work with the Playlist solely.
