New Version or Update of EZ-Keys?

Dear ToonTrack team,
I’ve been using the EZ products or the SD3 for years, the EZ-Bass or SD3 can do something that EZ-Keys can’t yet, so I’m wondering if there will ever be a new version of EZ-Key or an update that has this ability.
Several tracks can be created in EZ-Bass and SD§, which I use when I have dragged the found song parts from the ToonTrack plugins into the DAW, but want to keep them in the timeline for later use. If the DAW starts and there are still parts in the plugins, they will also be played parallel to the DAW. As far as I know, muting in the VSTi plugins does not work.
So I open a new track that I leave empty, which is then also the active track, so nothing is played in parallel and the song parts found can remain in the plugins.

An update to EZ Keys has been requested for years and years with no results in this forum. You might try here in Requests and Feedback. Not much optimism here. By silence and action it looks like TT is focusing on EZ Bass and the drum side of things.

It would be a shame if TT lost interest in EZ-Key’s, just to start a song, to write a song, a piano isn’t a bad start in my eyes.

I also use EZ-Bass and SD3, but I hardly buy any midi packs or instruments with SD3, and with the EZ-Bass I haven’t bought any add-ons at all.

But I kept buying midi packs for EZ keys and instruments too.

What a pity if a product that is so useful and great in my eyes is not further developed.

I just had to update ALL of my ezkeys midi files. Usually, it, because of a recent mac os update, but seeing how there hasn’t been one, I’m wondering if….maybe…a new ezkeys is coming? Maybe they’re preparing midi file to work with new host? I’m afraid to hope.

EZ drummer 3 is going to be released, with features similar to EZ Bass. I hope that also EZ Keys 2 will be released with same characteristics.

it would be also great to add a feature to ensure the possibility to synchronize the TT software, now the only way is by using a DAW, but it would be useful to have this possibility also outside

Been a user for many years of Toontracks software, especially the new EZ Bass & EZ Drummer 3. Awesome …When will there be Ez Keys in the same format and layout ? Total game changer these last two updates. Also wondering if in the future there will be Ez Guitar + Ez Celtic ( banjo mandolin etc)

Yes please, new version of EZ keys will definitely get my money. The current UI is a lot more challenging than EZ Bass and SD3. As mentioned above, EZ Guitar would be incredible, but please, bring EZ Keys up to par with the rest of the product line.

My money is good and ready for EZkeys with a scalable window, a build in pianoroll and some of those good things that Ezbass and EZdrums 3 already have. Please, at least tell us if you guys are working on it or not? As a fan and long time customer of ALL your products I would at least hope for an answer.

Yes please update EZKeys. I’m using ED3 and EZBass. It’s an important link to building the Rhythm tracks.

The DAW midi editor is not the same.

We need to program outside of the box.

Another country heard from.  I use EZkeys on almost everything as a writing tool.  Main gripe is the tiny, antiquated interface.  I would really like multiple tracks like SD3 and EZbass.  Editing capability would also be yuuuge.  Basically, give it the EZbass treatment guys.  I’ve already got all the MIDI paks.  Hep a bruva out.

What’s a bit annoying about this is we are all obviously long time users of EZKeys + multiple other Toontrack products, but there is no response from Toontrack at all about what is obviously a pain point with this customer group.

Could you (Toontrack) at least say something?

No, it’s not happening. Ever!
Yes, we’re working on it to be released *sometime*.

I’m sure TT isn’t stupid and is working on it, but complete silence is not very respectful to a key user group of your products.

Yes please. EzKeys Update. Just like ezBass. I already own it all, but would buy all the midi if I knew this product wasn’t going away.
