Ok, yes, I have read the manual. Still don’t get it. I am using the M Audio Axiom Pro midi controller keyboard. Very surprised that this is NOT listed in the presets available. It’s an industry standard controller. It is on ALL other competitor VSTs, just plug and play. But here I sit, having to read and program. Anyway.I’ve gone to settings, Midi, drum. I have created a user preset called MAudio. The column on the left shows the drum sounds and a vertical keyboard. When I click on the different keys, I get drum sounds. When I click on my keyboard midi controller, I get nothing. the bottom area still says “waiting on Midi”When I select learn and select a keyboard key, it doesn’t learn the sound. I would really rather be making music than dealing with all of this. If someone would be so kind as to direct me on to how to make this happen, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

Are you changing the octaves on your Axiom? You need to set it where the low C is C1.
Cubase Pro, Korg Kronos, M-50, Hammond XK-1c, Toontrack SD3, EZBass w/lots of expansions, many VSL Vi's, Shreddage 3 everything, and shit-tons of FX plugins.
From the first project (which works fine) to the following projects I haven’t changed anything. I set up SD exactly the same. Same kit etc. Set the same midi routing (A1, B1, C1 etc)
I vaguely remember reading somewhere that you had the align the trigger with the midi settings in SD. I haven’t located where that might be done in SD.
