I’m hoping this is an easy question to answer……
I started out with EZDrummer 2 and then upgraded to EZDrummer 3 so my “old” computer has both Ver 2 and Ver 3 installed.
I now have a new PC; can I just install Ver 3? or are there elements of Ver 2 that I will need to make Ver 3 work?
I have the same question for EZ Keys and Mix (i.e., do I need to install the old versions for completeness)
Thank you for your help!
If you’re opening older EZD2 sessions, install both. If you want the sounds and midi from EZD2, install both. Otherwise, just install EZD3 even if it’s the upgraded purchase.

Thanked by: Scott EshlemanActually, you don’t need to install both if you want the sounds and MIDI from EZ Drummer 2. The Product Manager, sees the EZD2 core library as an EZX. However, if you have project files from EZD2, then it is best to install both.
