New MacBook Air 2020 for SD3

Hi,

I am wondering if a new MacBook Air 2020 may be enough computing power to handle SD3 as standalone connected to a TD-50 via USB. I will like to have a laptop be part of my kit when I play SD3 libraries on my kit live, sorta like a second module I guess. The configuration I am looking at will have 16GB of RAM and 1TB SSD.

MacBook Air is good for online surfing and more light computational work. You might find yourself encountering various issues including audio dropout. You’re better off with an adequate MacBook Pro with a competent audio interface, especially if you plan to use it live.
