You can only have two active authorizations at one time. You’ll need to remove one for each EZX to authorize a new system.

    Thanks for the reply Scott!

To solve the problem, I just re-installed the old drive – everything works as it was.

Now, any idea how I re-instate my 2nd computer (laptop) which was deleted?

    Thanks!

you have to apply for extra authorisations. DUMB Fn idea, but thats what you have to do.

No he doesn’t. He currently has two active authorizations for each of his products. He has 4 total to use before requesting more.

Trevor, you need to remove one of the two active authorizations from your Toontrack account (there is an ‘X’ in the top right corner for each authorization window under your My Authorization tab in your account). I can’t remove active authorizations from here, only users can. You’ll have to decide which of the two to remove (authorizations name The Beast or Chebs Laptop)

sorry to drag this one out – but I’m a bit of a technophobe!

So I had two comps originally as you mentioned. I deleted the laptop and added ‘new computer’

I’ve now deleted ‘new computer’ and am only left with ‘the beast’. So now I want to add my laptop again but the first thing it asks for is computer ID – Where do I get that from?

    Thanks guys.

Once registered in your Toontrack account online, and the product is installed on your computer,
I find it easiest to open the software and let the software fill in as many of the ‘blanks’ as it can automatically.
In my experience (on my MAC), it becomes more of an exercise in confirming what has been pre-filled for you.

    Sorry, still in the dark!

The product is registered and installed on both my laptop and my PC. Problem is earlier, I removed my laptop to gain further authorizations. Now that I don’t need them, I want to re-register the laptop but need to know where to find ‘computer ID’

    Thanks guys!

The Computer ID is displayed on the authorization window the first time a Toontrack is opened (each product requires its own unique authorization). If I’m understanding you correctly, you authorized on your laptop already and then removed that authorization on your TT account. You are now trying to authorize the same laptop again. If it’s the exact same computer without any hardware changes, you won’t have to re-authorize. Are you getting an authorization window pop up when you use your product?

OK thanks Scott. Yep, that’s it. It works fine on the laptop – just that my TT account only shows my PC as authorized.

Now, I have another problem – but I’ll start a new thread with that..

Thanks all for your input and help!
