So, I have tried to download and install ezdrummer (1) to a new laptop. However, I understand I must first authorize a second (my new laptop) first but it will not let me. I want to do this so I can then upgrade to superior 2 from the DVD disc pkg I have and then download all the ezx packs I have for a new live gig I have. I can’t seem to register the new computer, any tips? Thanks guys.
Hi,
if your intention is to run Superior 2 and not EZdrummer 1, there’s no need to install EZdrummer first. Just install the latest available version of the Superior 2 plugin found in your Toontrack account (currently 2.4.3), then your Sound Libraries. I can see you also have EZdrummer 2 in your account but nonetheless, you don’t need to have any version of EZdrummer installed before running the latest Superior 2 plugin installer. The license is an upgrade/crossgrade but the installer is the same as a regular version.
As for Authorization, please see:

Thanks John will the superior install work even tho I did it from the purchased DVDs not online?
Well,
the Sound Library needs to be installed from DVD, yes, and then updated. The plugin though, must be updated as soon as possible from your Toontrack account, since the version on DVD is likely very old.
