Need help with EZ Drummer

Hey, I’ve been using EZ Drummer for about a week now and suddenly it is not letting me drag and drop the grooves. I am trying the same way as before and it will not me select them. I tried with different mouses and the trackpad. I am using EZ Drummer with Live 8.1.4. The regular drums will still work. I am not sure what is wrong so help would be appreciated, thanks!

This may be a UAC issue with Windows 7.

Right-click on the Live.exe (or whatever the Ableton program is called) and select ‘Run as Administrator’.

I’m sorry, the computer I use for recording is Windows Vista, I only use that computer for recording so I get mixed up. I tried again today and it is still messed up.

And as another note I use EZ Drummer as a plug in and the ez drummer window will not give the option to drag so I don’t think it is an issue with live. I’ve clicked on it numerous different ways and the little grey rectangle still doesn’t come up like it did before. Thanks

My advise applies to Vista as well.

Does running Abelton as administrator allow dragging and dropping of MIDI or not?
