Hey guys,
I would appreciate any insight or help anyone can offer. I have a Roland TD-50x kit and a VH-14D running on SD3. I have the proper kit selected in the MIDI/EDrums settings, but am having a really difficult time getting the HH to sync up properly. SD3 is not communicating properly with the VH-14D, and I cannot get the proper zones to play (tip, shaft, bell, etc) or link up.
Why is this so hard – can anyone PLEASE help??
Just select the TD-50X e-drum mapping preset. 🙂

Thanked by: Anthony Carpenter^ also, make sure the bell articulations are turned on for the hats. Most of the libraries have them disabled by default.

Thanked by: Anthony CarpenterI’m almost ready, now that the weather is cooling down at last!, to dive back into SD3. I recently bought a TD50K2 setup 1 extra tom one extra cymbal and a BT-1. I am dying to get that sound again. But I know from experience it’s not a turn it on and use it experience to get the kit sound I want overall. The support now for the new hi-hat is MUCH appreciated, and I only just found out about the bell being off by default.. I miss my Acoustic set sitting in its cases, but I can get more realistic now.
