Sooooo, I purchased Ez Mix Metal this morning……….Installed it and didnt realize I needed to have EZ Mix installed already to use it. No bigggie. I then purchased EZ Mix. Did the authorization thing, opened it in my DAW and all that but there is no EZ Metal anywhere. I dont even see a DLL. file for it. Shouldnt there be?EZ Mix opened fine.I cant authorize it because it never shows up in my DAW to get that far. I unintalled everything, and un-authorized EZ Mix in hopes to start from the beginning but EZ Mix still opens in my DAW even with no authorization. All I want is to start over and I cant seem to do that for some reason. All I wanted was the EZ Metal and nothing else to begin with. Can an Admin give me a hand and let me know what I did wrong? I have plenty of other Toontrack products and never had this happen. Please help me out?
EZmix is the product, the Metal pack is an expansion to EZmix, so the presets show up inside EZmix. Once you click one of the new presets, you will be asked to Authorize it.
To find the new ones quickly, add the column view for Preset Pack and sort.

Thanks John. I kind of thought that the presets would be in there already. Just so you know, I scrolled through the list and there is nothing that says metal pak anything. There were some EZ Mix presets that I was not able to click on but those said nothing about metal either.
I did see 3 presets that say Metal Kick 1-3 but it looks like those come with EZ Mix to begin with as when I click those, there is no authorization screen popping up. Did I miss something in there? I installed EZ Mix and then installed EZ Metal Presets.
you do not say what system you are using so it is fairy difficult to help.
All I can do is confirn that the ‘Metal Kick 1-3’ are in the core EZmix and not part of the Metal preset pack.
Anyway, what version number can you see in the top right of the interface?

I figured all I was seeing was just EZ Mix only. As for the version, I will post that up tonight when I get home from work. I still dont get why I am not seeing the Metal preset pack though……
Also I did unauthorize EZ Mix in hopes to start over and right now under My Products, it is not authorized…….but it opens in my DAW just fine.
I still dont get why I am not seeing the Metal preset pack though……
Preset pack accessibility was added in version 1.0.1. If you’re running 1.0, you won’t see any preset packs.
You can sort the preset by ‘Preset Pack’ in the column heading. This will make finding the Metal presets easier.

Thanks guys. Got it all straightened out. I just un-installed it all and reinstalled it and I am set. The only thing that is odd still is Ez Mix itself. It says on “My Products” that it is not authorized yet and it still opens in my DAW just fine, however it does not prompt me to authorize it. It works fine but is this going to be an issue?

Well, you say ‘yet’ but you did authorize it already (see post #5). You then removed that authorization from your ‘My Products’ page. You uninstalled it from your system but the authorization will remain in your computer’s registry. Just ‘authorize’ it again on your My Products page using your 6DFX7-XXXXX-XXX Computer ID.
