Hi!
I´m frustrated to say the least! Spent many hours on this now, and didn’t think it would be so hard to get ezdrummer running… I use a MacBook Pro with Logic Pro X and do not have another computer (Mac or PC) in the house to register offline. I can´t say that I´m a technical genius, so perhaps I´ve done something wrong, or in the wrong order… Here´s what I´ve done so far:
I´ve had the ezdrummer 2 demo installed before and decided to buy/download the full version yesterday. When I downloaded the full version the demo was still on my Mac. I also downloaded the Product Manager and updates. (Can´t really seem to get the PM going either) Anyway, the ezdrummer 2 is installed and placed in the application files on my Mac HD. When I start the ezd 2 I´m. requested to register online, but there it stops. “Connection to the Toontrack server timed out”. (See attached screenshots)
I have removed all my ezdrummer files, including the demo, and downloaded them again. I also updated my OS to Sierra yesterday.
Someone, please help!

Perhaps I´ve posted this topic in the wrong category, but is there someone (support??) who can point me in the right direction?
I´ve scanned this forum and several other websites for help but haven´t found a solution yet. I know that I should try to use the Program Manager download the ezd 2 again, but I really don´t know how that would work since I can’t get anywhere when I open the PM up. And also, I could try to authorize offline, but I just have one computer that I use for Internet and as my music computer. As mentioned above, when opening up the ezdrummer 2, I´m requested to authorize (not register) but when I try to do so, it just ends with “connection to the Toontrack server timed out”, and I can´t go on with the authorization.
Sadly, I have a download limit on my internet connection, so I can´t keep uninstalling and downloading ezd 2 forever.

Hi,
what happens when you open the Product Manager?

Hi!
The PM starts scanning for updates and stops after a while saying: “Update check failed. The connection timed out.”
I´ve tried to go through the choices under the PM´s rollbars, but I can´t really do more than changing preferences. Can´t go to the product line from the PM.

OK,
are you using any VPN service or similar? Your Mac is connected directly to the internet (or via a personal router)?

I managed to solve this mystery:) I hooked up my Macs internet connection through my iPhone and then I was able to authorize. So probably some security/integrity thing that I wasn’t aware of on my Mac. Just happy it worked out!
Thanks anyway!
