I’m running SD3 with a TD-30 module and kit. The kit includes a Roland BT-1 trigger bar. Using any TD-30 module kits the BT-1 trigger sound responds instantly such as with a clap, cowbell, etc. However when using SD3 and adding an instrument using the BT-1 trigger bar, the bar has a sizeable sound delay , likely 250ms or more. It is the only trigger using SD3 sounds that has a delayed response. I’m baffled how to remove this delay with the BT-1 response when using SD3. I’m certain the BT-1 is behaving correctly based on using it with the TD-30.
Any ideas what is going on? Feedback is welcome.
That’s strange as Ive used a bt1 with a td30 for a few years and not experienced this. I used it for cross stick. I haven’t used it for three weeks now as I got a td50x and digital snare.
Is there anything else in the path? What are you trying to trigger? SD3 doesn’t know what a bt1 is. It only responds to what it receives from the module.
