My edrum snare pad is mapped to the EZD kit snare but…

…the sound coming out is not the EZD snare. I click the EZD snare graphic with my mouse and the snare I want sounds. But when I hit my edrum snare pad, the EZD snare sample does not sound. I only hear my edrum kit’s snare. Can anyone enlighten me? Thanks!

BEST ANSWER

Not sure what eKit you have but, I have a Simmons SD1000 module and I have to change the MidiSettings from Local On, to Local Off. Then go to EzDrummer Settings-Audio/Midi Setup- make sure that your module is showing up in the Active Midi Inputs and check the box next to it.  Not sure how others work.

some more details about your setup would be great; which equipment part is connected to which, computer, audio interface, drum module, midi interface, etc.
