Multiple tracks

I have a nice drum track i created with SD3 grooves and i would like to add a nice cymbal to the intro.

I created a second track in SD3 and added the ride cymbal there for the same number of bars

as the intro.  However when i play back SD3 i hear the intro drums but no added cymbal.

I am assuming i did it wrong and this is not the way its done.

So my question is is there anyway to add a cymbal or other drum part to a groove preset?

You don’t add an extra track you just add the cymbal to the track with the other drums.

SD3 with older sdx,s plus Rooms of Hansa and Death & Darkness. Cubase and wavelab current versions. Roland TD50x using all trigger inputs for triggering SD3 only. Windows 11 computer. Various keyboards and outboard gear as well as VST instruments. Acoustic drums: Yamaha 9000 natural wood and Pearl masters. Various snare drums. RME BabyFace Pro FS and Adam A7X monitors

So to do this i copied the ride block i had placed on track 2 then i pasted just the cymbal part onto the existing intro track and it worked great!
