I think I tried this on my MacBook Pro in Pro Tools 11 when I got it and gave up adding more tracks after the 25th or something.
I’m not entirely sure if it was EZdrummer 1 or 2 though but you will be able to create several.

You opened up easy drummer 25 times in one session?!

IIRC, yes. I won’t swear by it but it was 1 regular instance and then I filled up with duplicating the Latin Percussion.

Currently, as I am typing this, I have a Pro Tools 11 Session running in the background with 1 Instrument Track with an instance of the Basic EZdrummer 2 Modern Kit and 24 Instrument Tracks – each with its own EZdrummer 2 instance with the Latin Percussion EZX loaded. All 25 Instrument Tracks are playing back MIDI.

That is awesome! Can’t wait to get my mac.
Great program! I even love it on my demos with protools 8 a weak interface and a weak
    Computer.

I am running CUBASE 7 ELEMENTS and EZ Drummer 2
when i try to open more than one track of EZD 2 or when i try to multichannel ( i.e. separate Kick, Snare, Toms etc etc )
The following pop up windows appear and Windows freezes up ! ! !
I have attached pics of the windows.

I have un-installed and re-installed both programs, I even installed the 30 day trial of Cubase 7 Element and EZD 2 on a different computer and have the same problems.

    I am running:
    HP Compaq dc7900

    Intel Core 2 Quad

    4.00 GB RAM

    Windows 7 Pro 32 bit

    256MB ATI Radeon HD 2400 XT Dual-VGA

    Realtek HD Audio Drivers

    Cubase Element 7

    Guitar Rig 5

    EZDrummer 2

    Izotope Ozone 5 and Nectar

    Steinberg CI 1 Audio Interface

My first observation is RAM, EZD 2 minimum specs indicate 2GB X 2 that’s 4GB Cubase 7 also 2GB minimum. So far you’re at 6GB RAM requirements for applications and minimum requirements for WIN 7 (32 bit) is 1GB… 7GB RAM.

As your system specs indicate 4GB RAM, I would suspect you’re maxing out on RAM and that’s what’s crashing out.

Mac Studio M1 Max, RAM 64 GB, 1TB Drive, OSX 12.x/13.x and Windows 10 (VM)
DAW: Studio One Pro (always up to date)
DTX Express III (Extreme triggers), Nektar LX88
    OWC Thunderbay Mini (4 X 1TB Sata SSD), Express 4M2 (4 X 2TB M.2 SSD), Envoy Express (1TB M.2 SSD)
Presonus Quantum, Faderport & Faderport 8
    Black Lion Sparrow Mk2 A/D, FMR-RNP-RNC, MIDI Xpress 128, BM5A, KRK VXT4, Equator D5
    2020 Macbook Pro 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD Audio(mobile rig)

Lack of RAM doesn’t cause crashes but lack of address space does.
The maximum amount of address space that untweaked 32 bit Windows
allows for applications is 2GB and when that’s exhausted you
typically crash. What you need is 64 bit, both OS and hosting
    application.
