Someone can correct me if I’m wrong. I don’t think standalone can do it. I would have to load EZDrummer in a DAW, route EZDrummer to individual DAW channels, and use the DAWs routing options to access the multiple outputs on my interface.

As good as having a nice interface is, you’ll want a good computer processor as well.

I use an RME Fireface from years back that could do this. Just good ole USB 2.0. Not cheap. I could only get 8 analog outs though.

That’s what I know works from my limited experience with this.

I always hate being the one to correct Shootie, but yes, it can be done in standalone. You would need to have a capable interface and enable the outputs in the Audio/MIDI. You would need an interface that has the number of outputs available and they are not cheap.

You might be able to get away with using a USB-C type interface as you are not doing any real audio production, so it may be able to handle lower sample buffers. However, don’t quote me on that. My preference is always towards Thunderbolt as it has a far greater bandwidth and can easily handle lower sample buffers.

That’s why I say correct me if I’m wrong. Thanks, Jord.

As for connection, RME rewrites the USB 2.0 driver, it’s plenty fast at least for this specific company, fyi.

Just because you say it, that doesn’t mean I like to do it. 😀

I’ve heard that RME does things in a similar manner as Thunderbolt. That probably would be the better choice for USB and would more than likely handle the OP’s live situation. My guess is that the audio processing will be handled by an FOH engineer.

It’s pretty cool. I don’t even use USB 3.0 port on computer.

*DAW route as stated before if you need to tweak yourself.
