As a request can we get MTC or Midi sync for the stand alone.
I can provide my case use if needed but that pretty much sums it up
thank you
OK, I am curious,
If it is what I think you’re thinking of doing, I can see why. Right now I am using a programmable keypad that I bought on Amazon. It is application aware. The only problem with that is if you switch to another application, you lose control of SD3

Thanks for the reply.
I have a large and complex setup. I have over 100 inputs in hardware. Behringer wing, x32 rack and 2 soundgrid servers.
I like to record my e drum parts to SD3. midi editing of drum parts is so much faster for SD3 parts in SD3. Mainly because all the articulations show up on the grid. And change with every kit almost. I can get multiple outs if I run it inside of Nuendo but that is multiple outs within Nuendo. And it takes a lot of workarounds to get individual outs to my mix setup.at least as far as I know, For now I take the edited MIDI from SD3 put it it Nuendo and send it to SD3 over rtpMIDI.
I have 7 different computers running and like to use SD3 as a kind of tape meschine. 2 Nuendo setups. Dolby Atmos renderer, Wwise, unreal engine and Davinci resolve. I have dedicated systems for all. I send MTC and time code all over the place and just wish SD3 would take it in stand alone. Hope this makes some kind of since. It does show I am crazy.
Hi John
And I thought I was Nuts
I was poking the bear a bit with my initial response, in that most folks that I know of, only run on one computer and …”MTC” means ???
:Mobile Terminated Call : MIDI Time Code : Missile Test Center…. Etc. Etc. Etc. (over 50 definitions for the acronym”MTC”)
I Agree That MTC would be an asset to your case for sure.
In My case I would like the same as I could run stand alone on my Roland 1610 and Cubase on my Moto interface.
On A different note, how do I create a new topic on this forum? Can’t find a button to click on
Cheers
