I just purchased a new computer and now need to transfer all my ToonTrack licenses from my old computer to this new one. This means I’m also moving from Windows 10 to Windows 11.
I see that I can remove authorizations from some of the products and not others, like Drum MIDI. And what I can de-authorize, it looks like I have to do them one at a time.
Is there anyway to deauthorize all of my products at once? If not, is this is something that you (ToonTrack) can do on your end? If s0, go ahead and do it. I’m trying to do this as soon as possible.
SD3 and Lots of MIDI Packs and SDX’s
EZBass and Lots of MIDI Packs and EBX’s
EXMIX
EZ Drummer and some EZX’s
Thanks!

Hi,
unfortunately I can’t do it in one go either but it takes less time for me than for you, so I went ahead and cleared them.

I will probably reaching out for the exact same thing in a couple of weeks. Re-authorizing is going to put the FU in FUn.

re-authorizing is simple, PM gives you an “Authorize All” option. It’s a time (and some cases sanity) saver.

If that’s the case, I should be fine after the de-auth. At least I don’t have to reinstall everything.

Thanked by: BradHa! I’ll tell you that this is no fun. Toontrack stuff is pretty easy. But with hundreds of other plugin companies, not so much. I’m dealing with dozens of them, each of which have their own installers, and their own way of deauthorization (if any). Many times the process is very unintuitive. Others that don’t have installers do it on a plugin-by-plugin basis.
All in all, I’m on my 3rd day of working on this transfer.

Yeah I hear you. I have a “sacrificial lamb” system that gets re-imaged and rebuilt every few months for testing. I guess I just have it down to a pattern (and a specific wine)

I imaged all of my Toontrack libraries to an external drive that I will be using with my new laptop. That part was easy considering that I already keep them on an SSD that I use with my desktop. It will just boil down to the de-auth and re-auth stages.

Yep me too, the EZMix products need to be installed each time and that takes a while. Other than that all Toontrack Samples are on external SSD devices and shared by all systems (one which boots from the internal drive and two that boot from external drives)

Thanks all for the responses!
But, I have run into a problem. I installed the Product Manager and all of my products showed up. So I clicked on the “Authorize All” butt0n and it only authorized 2 trial products. So I now have 79 “not installed” products.
These products are all on a drive in my computer but the product Manager does not know where they are. Therefore, the only option I am getting for each product is “Download Product”. Of course this is something I don’t want to go through since I already have all of them on my drive. All I need is t0 authorize them
How do I let Product Manager know that they are already installed? (they are not installed on the boot drive. They are installed on a 2nd internal drive)
Or is there another solution?
Thanks again!

Superior Drummer 3 version: 3.3.6
Operating system: Windows 11
Start up Superior Drummer goto Settings Library Paths and setup the path to the external drive where the SDXs are installed.
Stop/start Product Manager and it should give you the Authorize All again.

OK I will have to download the SD3 app itself to do this. Is the SD3 app in the first part of the 5 part download? In other words, can I just download part 1 of SD3?

Just the application; you shouldn’t have to download anything else.

Yeah, you should be able to get away with just installing the apps and then authorizing them first before pointing them to your libraries. Then do the authorize all after your apps are in place. I remember having to do this when I was blowing away my main drive on my trash can.

Ahh!!! Got it. I didn’t see that at first. Downloading now.
I’ve now successfully installed a number of products and everything going smoothly!
Thanks to all for the help!!!
