In the FAQ section it was stated I can move the location of Sounds and Ezdrummer 2 will prompt me to browse the correct new folder location but its not happening. instead it just say “……damaged, please reinstall”
Any idea?
Hi,
could you please provide system details? Which version number is displayed in the EZdrummer 2 plugin interface?

latest
EZdrummer plug-in version 2.1.1 (build 10513) [64-bit VST]
Standalone host version 2.1.1 (build 10513)
SOUND LIBRARIES
EZdrummer 2 Modern version 1.0.2
EZdrummer 2 Vintage version 1.0.2
Pop! version 1.5.1
MIDI LIBRARIES
EZdrummer 2 Modern/Vintage version 1.0.0
EZdrummer 2 Percussion version 1.0.0
EZX Pop! version 1.5.0
Windows 10 Pro 64bit upgradedd from W8.1
OK,
my guess would be that the re-linking function isn’t compatible with Windows 10.
Everything but the core MIDI is up to date according to your list above.
If you move the folder back to its original location, everything works as expected, right?
For now, I would recommend uninstalling EZdrummer 2 and the Pop! EZX completely and doing a Custom Installation if you need the Sound Library and MIDI to reside on a different location than the Default.

– I didnt see any update in my product area for core MIDI

– actually I keep the installer which has the same big sounds folder so I only want to keep that one in the cloud as SSD doesnt have much space to spend
One question, is the update of your products usually cumulative? if I reinstall from scratch do i need to install e.g. originak installer plus 1.1 update and 1.2 update or just 1.2 update?

No, you’re right. It must investigate why it looked like you needed update in my end.

I am not sure I follow. You’re keeping things as they are for now?

Cumulative, yes. Full install + latest update only.
