Moving song to new library (Super Dummer 3 to Progressive Foundry)

Hellos!

I’ve jumped in and grabbed the Prog Foundry and need to move some tracks over to it. The originals use presets from the SD3 Library but I’ve added three instruments as Instrument 1,2 and 3. (Snares off, X-Kick and X-Hat).

I want to preserve these when changing the Library used for the session over to Foundry, but it’s losing those three instruments. I’ve tried exporting to MIDI, setting the new Foundry Preset up with the 3 extra Instruments, and importing the MIDI, but these three come in empty.

Thankful for any clues 🙂

Section 3.1 of the manual has a Load Parts section that might be something to try.

SD3 3.4, EZK2.1.3, EZ Bass 1.3.1, Win11, i9/9900, all SSDs, 64g RAM, Cakewalk, Studio One

Thanks for replying, but that does not seem to work when loading Presets in a different library.

Have dug a bit further and I think it’s got something to do with the MIDI mappings. I might have to try matching the MIDI map from the old and new Preset within the new library before doing the MIDI import… might get fiddly!
