Hi all, I just installed EXZ – Latin Percussion. My question: What is the proper way to move just the sound files to a new destination? I use this expansion pack inside SD 2.3, and everything installed onto my C: drive, which I don’t want, since I have dedicated drive for samples. UPDATE: I just uninstalled the expansion, and tried to re-install, but the installer didn’t give me the option where to install. It wants to put everything into the 32bit Programs folder on C: … Thank you, Benji Schaub
Hi, since you’re on PC, the proper way to relocate your ‘EZHOME’ repository would be to uninstall the EZX(s) and the Superior 2 plugin (NOT the Superior 2 sounds!) first. You do not have any other Toontrack plugins like EZplayer Pro or EZdrummer installed, right? If so, these would also have to be uninstalled first. Next, you install the latest version of Superior 2 again and this time, pay attention to the point in the installation process where you can choose the location for your ‘EZHOME’ folder. Point to the desired drive and folder and continue. After the installer is finished, all subsequent installations of Toontrack MIDI and EZX:s will end up where you pointed to and will automatically be picked up by Toontrack plugins. BR, John

Thx for the answer! How would you do the uninstall, with the OS dialogs or something else? Just to insure that the samples are NOT uninstalled accidentally… 🙂 B.
Unless you intentionally select to uninstall the sounds, you don’t.

Hi there, here a small update: I tried the SD 2.3 install/uninstall cycle various times until I figured out that I had to actually delete the 32bit Toontrack folder before the EZX installer would pick up the new destination. All seems to work now! Thx, Benji
