Moving EZ products to a new computer

Good afternoon,

I currently run a number of Toontrack plug ins on a desk top and a now defunct laptop.

I bought a new computer today so is there any way of transferring my licenses to my new computer without having to repurchase them?

Actually, I’m wondering a similar thing.

Is there a limit to the number of times EZ products can be re-installed on the same computer?

Or what if I buy a new computer to replace my current one?

Thanks for any info anyone can share on this.
(I know this info is provided somewhere, I’m just not seeing it now when I need it.)

Hello there Toonies!

A bit of the similar Q’ here!

I’m about to install my brand new monster DAW, and i’m wondering if,
the “old” vst folder as well as the “Superior Sounds” folder, can just be moved (copied) onto the correct folder / drive on the new machine,
and only install the new program .exe, or do i have to install everything from scratch?

I think the answer is that while you can move them instead of installing and perhaps make it work initially, that makes life hard (less predictable) for the support people. If you don’t do the full install, things like updates may not work because the updater can’t see that it’s installed perhaps.

They’ll only support you if you’ve done the install properly.

Superior sound libraries (SDX:s) can be moved/copied and pointed to in the Superior plugin.
EZdrummer EZX:s can not.
You also need to install the plugins, these must NOT be moved/copied but its a 1-minute operation on a modern computer so it can hardly be inconvenient.
