I think so as it just says Cubase on the tick box. I’m guessing this is partly to do with how the DAW manages vsti outputs.

SD3 with older sdx,s plus Rooms of Hansa and Death & Darkness. Cubase and wavelab current versions. Roland TD50x using all trigger inputs for triggering SD3 only. Windows 11 computer. Various keyboards and outboard gear as well as VST instruments. Acoustic drums: Yamaha 9000 natural wood and Pearl masters. Various snare drums. RME BabyFace Pro FS and Adam A7X monitors

Near as I know SD3 supports stereo outputs in all daws as well as standalone. You have the choice of using stereo or single channel outputs from inside SD3 via it’s mixer.

    Hi,

you can hard pan a Mono source in the SD3 mixer and then select its output, e.g. Output 3-4, then create a Mono Aux Input or Instrument channel in your DAW, where you set the Input to the channel your hard panned 3 or 4 (in this case).  Cubase needs special treatment and it’s either Mono all or Stereo all (which is Default).

    BR,
    John

In Logic you can instantiate mono aux channels and grab the left and right channels from then outputs.
