My question is this. I know the input gain on the module’s trigger dictates the velocity being received by SD3. But what about other settings such as velocity curve Log 1, 2, or 3. If I set the velocity curve in the module to Log2 for example, will SD3 read that velocity curve from the module?

If you apply a velocity curve in the module, then yes, it will affect the MIDI that is sent from the module.

Thank you for the prompt response. So in theory, you could create quit a mess if you have the module set on Log 3 and then mess with the velocity settings in SD3. Is it better when triggering SD3 to let SD3 handle things like velocity curve and just let the module be the triggering device? I had a TD25 and that was far less robust in terms of trigger options than the Mimic Pro and I am concerned I am “over programming” for lack of a better term. Particularly on the snare (ATV). I get great sensitivity direct from the module into headphones, but hot and dead spots when I play through SD3 into headphones.
