Do a search in Windows and delete the .dlls found. Then run the latest EZD2 update 32-bit or 64-bit, whichever you are using, or both. Then set the path in Cubase to this version. Having multiple versions in multiple locations will cause this type of headaches.

So how can the path not be the right one?

I had the same problem. Even if I run the latest update and change the vst path, it is always the old path that shows in Ezdrummer. So, i used regedit to change the path in the registry. Now, it works.

    That exactly what I mean.
Can you, please, tell me how to do that? I fear to made mistakes on Regedit.

    Not recommended at all.

I would recommend setting the path in Cubase to the location of the standalone. If, like you say, you only have one version, it should be one and the same.

I’m confused, as you say you only have one ezdrummer.dll but you somehow have multiple versions on your computer.

I don’t have any experience with Cubase or configuring VST plugins therein,
but shouldn’t y’all be adding a VST path within Cubase that points Cubase to the installation path of EZDrummer2
rather than moving dll’s from their installed location?

Also, wouldn’t moving the EZDrummer dll from its installed location be detrimental to other applications’ ability to use EZDrummer?
I know many users & studios that use multiple DAWs (Pro Tools, Cubase, Logic, etc).
