Since the update to 3.1.0 OR 3.1.1 (sorry, not sure), sometimes a hit on the snare drum doesn’t trigger the snare sound anymore. It happens once every 15 minutes of playing or so.
Is there someway you can make sure that the MIDI note is received by Superior Drummer 3? Have the MIDI monitor box open, or check MIDI in your DAW etc? Record the MIDI in the DAW while playing – and when the snare drops out – check if the MIDI note was recorded?
Is it a difference if you play in SD3 in a DAW vs standalone?

I will try that. Yesterday, in the standalone version, I got, of course, no missing triggers. I haven’t used these version with a DAW, but I’ll give it a try anyway. It could take a while though to “force” this bug to show itself again.
I get that bug but with the ride of the yamaha kit, the 22” Ist 30th aniv ride, the midi note is being recorded but it doesn’t trigger, happens only with this ride and in logic and standalone mode.
I can’t be sure, but a plausible scenario would be that the e-drums sends the note, but with a really low velocity – or some other MIDI data that’s not correct.
Of course, I can’t be sure here so we would really need some more information on this – like info about the MIDI data that gets received by SD3. We will keep our eyes open for these kind of bugs here at the office too…
