Hi,
I am missing several presets which disappeared during the latest update (Version 2.2.2). So far I identified “90’s Vocals” and “Metal Drum Bus” as I use them quite frequently for mixing the recordings of my bands’s rehearsals. Anyone else having the same problem or any solution so far?
Kind regards,
Stylo
Hi,
They should still be there. Any filters active perhaps that would make them not show up? In the “Preset Pack” filter column, do you have the pack “EZmix 2”? Those two presets are in that pack.

Hi,
actually, the problem occures when I open up my project and then open the EZMix Insert I was previously using on my drum bus and the other on the vocal bus. So EZMIx is telling me that it is not there any more.
But can you find the pack and those presets in the browser?

Hi,
in Cubase I don’t. Before the update everything was there.
I am having a similar issue. I downloaded 2.2.2 today and it looks like the mastering presets and several others (mastering 1 I think it was called or just mastering) are no longer available. The error message states “the preset pack “EZmix 1″ requires EZmix 2.2.2 or higher.” It also says the same thing for EZ mix2. As an example, I am getting an alert that says Master1 is not found on all my songs. I have the 2.2.2 update so not sure how to find and enable those presets again. I am using Reaper if that matters. Please advise on a solution.
Edit: Mastering II pack and compression and saturation show up in the presets column.
Okay, both of you are using a plug-in which is not the latest one that was installed. In the past, you have probably copied the EZmix.dll to the host’s plug-in folder. That’s not a good method. Delete the old copy and in the host add the plug-in path which the EZmix standalone shows in Help > Show Plug-In Path.

Sorry but when you say delete the old copy do you mean delete the .dll file on my PC in the toontrack folder and reinstall? I tried the plug in path but it didn’t work. Perhaps I need reinstall the whole thing?
Search the host’s plug-in paths (or the whole computer) for “EZmix.dll”. Delete any that is not version 2.2.2 – you can right-click the file and select Properties to see its version.

Thanked by: mpjacobs1Search the host’s plug-in paths (or the whole computer) for “EZmix.dll”. Delete any that is not version 2.2.2 – you can right-click the file and select Properties to see its version.
No matter what I try, I still show version 2.2.1 in my songs and cannot find the proper file path or find the older version to delete. Any ideas?
When I pull up the app by itself it recognizes version 2.2.2 and has the preset packs. I can’t figure out how to get my songs in reaper to recognize the newest version.
Edit: Think I found the file that was causing the problem. Seems to be fixed. Thank you for your help!

Thanked by: Olof HermanssonI am also having the same issue except I am running V.2.2.2. EZMix and all packs are up to date. I haven’t done any Windows reinstalls and nothing other than the EZMix update has changed. I just opened up the project one day and got the error message. Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated.
“Andy – Lead 1” is in Metal Guitar Gods 3. Try reinstalling that pack.

It took a while but I finally figured it out. I didn’t own Guitar Gods 3 and that’s why I didn’t know why I was missing that preset. I kept checking preset lists on the product pages but only on the products that I owned. I started to think that Toontrack just removed it all together. I asked my associate and it turns out that he owned it. At some point he was using his account during the mix process which gave him access to that preset. I just bought GG3 so I don’t have to worry about it now.
Thanks for letting me know which pack it was in. That really helped to narrow down the issue.
