To answer your question the default location for MIDI files on Mac is
    /Library/Application Support/EZDrummer/Midi.

Depending on the options (well let’s just say there might be a way to get an Apple upgrade to behave in a useful manner, though I don’t have the patience to find out how) this folder should be preserved in place but more likely you will find your MIDI files in a ‘Previous System’ folder at the root of your OS drive. It is safe to move those files back in the above mentioned location.

… well, that is the best shot I can give you at avoiding to reinstall your MIDI packs manually one by one.

Thanks Rogue. No the files don’t seem to be anywhere on the drive that I can find. I even looked at the hiidden files and the Incompatible Files folder etc., and they aren’t there. I’ve only been on Mountain Lion about 4 weeks and this is the first problem with any of my libraries that I’ve found, but both EZD and Superior are so messed up that I’ve uninstalled everything and am now beginning to reinstall from scratch. The original SD installer on the DVDs seems to work okay, but am downloading the EZD base installer from your web site now as the one on the CD fails. Will apply the recent updates to both once installations are complete and the start reinstalling all the EZXs etc. Thanks for your help so far.

3.5 GHz Mac Pro, 36 GB RAM, OS 10.12.6, RME Multiface II + HPSP PCIe, Cubase10.0.2, EZDrummer, Superior Drummer 3, All EZXs, Battery 3, Komplete 11, BWW, VoP, Venus, Mars, Most Spitfire libraries, Omnisphere, Trilian, Stylus RMX, Symphobia 1 & 2 etc.
