Hello. I downloaded a trial version of EZ Drummer to test it out before buying.
I installed EZD 3 Trial and EZD 3 Core Library Trial by Toontrack Product Menager. While installing I selected a custom folder I created as a location for the filles.
When I go to Grooves section in EZD 3 most of grooves can’t be played and message shows up: “Missing groove. Midi file could not be found”(screenshot 1).
On 2nd screenshot you can see how to folder I chose for the program files looks. Inside Midi folder there are only 3 subfolders: “00@_EZDRUMMER_LIBRARIES”, “02_@EZDRUMMER_3” and “02_@EZDRUMMER_3_PERCUSSION”.
I realisted that some of the files were randomly put inside other folder on my other drive which is my base drive with system files. You can see the content of that folder on 3rd screenshot.
I tried reinstallin and the same problem occures.
I want to know if it’s how trial version looks or am I having an issue that may occure when I purchase a paid version.
If so, how can I solve this?
Hi Kacper,
I think the screen shots look as how they should when you select a Custom Install location for the Sounds and MIDI.
I am unsure how the Trial version works with Custom locations, should work the same as the Full version though, i.e. have no problems.
If you go into Settings > Libraries/Paths in EZD3, does the path to Sounds and MIDI Libraries point to your Custom location?
If it seems ok, can you go to the ‘Advanced’ tab and ‘Restore MIDI Database’?

John
