Tom MartiniHi, I’ve tried this in two different DAW’s (Studio One 6 and Pro Tools Studio) and Stand alone as well. When I try to swap out a cymbal and replace it with one from another SDX or do a search for one and try to preview a sound to use it, it can replace it in the kit but it removes the sound. I’ve tried looking within the mixer for a channel it may reroute to but still no sound then if I try to put back the original one still no sound. It only seems to happen to cymbals and not the drums. I’ve tried unintalling SD3 and reinstall and still , no sound. I’ve had SD3 working 100% until I tried this. The kit i was using is in the main SD3, Bob Rock Kit 1 China cymbal reaplce. Anyone know a fix or cause for this? I’m stumped as to why this started. Thanks

Tom MartiniWell I think i’ve figured it out. On some kits there are two OH mics, one is a OH cond, and the other is OH Dynamic. I repointed the replaced cymbal to the Dynamic and it has sound so I guess I can’t use OH Cond with some pieces. I’ve never noticed this prior to trying to switch out a china before. I added a channel and just pointed the output to it and now can hear the sound then just adjust bleed ot the other OH. Hope this helps others.
