I’ve moved over to protools 2020.5 with hopes that it can handle plugins a bit better than Studio One, but the AAX-64 bit is not showing up after several reboots, unistalling and reinstalling, and updating. I’m sure there is a simple solution, but i have not been able to find it in the forums.
Thanks in advance for a quick solution.
I think on Windows the plugins are located in; C:\Program Files\Common Files\Avid\Audio\Plug-Ins
Can you check to see if EZDrummer is installed there?
Are you trying to insert it on a stereo instrument track? (must be stereo)

Thanked by: hardidrHi Brad, many thanks for the quick reply. I did see your double check on making sure that the track is stereo from another post. I have it set to stereo, but it doesn’t affect my instrument list content.
So indeed there is a reference to EZDrummer in the Plug-Ins directory.
I have EZD, EZK, and EZB, all with references/directories within the Plug-Ins folder.
But only EZB, shows up in my instruments within Pro Tools 2020.5.
Could you create a new session, create a new stereo instrument track and send me a screen print of that, before inserting anything on it.

Thanked by: hardidrThanks Brad.
I deleted my prefs, reinstalled all of my core plugins, then rescanned.
I am seeing them now if i do the insert from the track and not from the AudioSuite menu.
Many thanks for the help and quick responses.
Glad you got it worked out, a lot of times deleting the prefs is all it takes with Pro Tools.
