Hey all,
I purchased and installed groove monkeys midi packs. When I installed them I noticed that they were all mixed in with the toontrack ezx midifiles. Most tutorials show 3rd party midi under a seperate header.
Did I do something wrong? The files still work, it just seems the browser is cluttered now.
Thank you
James
You didn’t exactly explain how you installed them. For 3rd party stuff I prefer to use Custom Midi Libraries.
If you’re not familiar, try this video at about 17:45…

I unzipped the midi folder then ran the installer file for the ez drummer format. Then fired up ez drummer expecting them to be a under a folder labeled 3rd Party or Groove Money. They were all mixed in with the factory ones!
I think had watched that video before when I was looking for answers on the web. I didn’t think it had anything to do with my situation. I see I may have been wrong. I will play around with the manage midi settings some.
BTW. Really like your videos. They hit the sweet spot between topic, examples and length of video. First time I watched one of your videos I subbed while it was playing.
Thank you for the he reply.
James
